    Allowing the action to shine is what Resistance: Retribution does best. The slick controls perform admirably with only a few minor stumbles, letting you flex your impressive arsenal as you battle through hordes of fiendish enemies. The scope of your journey is a bit narrow, and Grayson may very well offend gamers with ties to France (or England, for that matter), but the excitement and intensity packed into Resistance: Retribution are undeniable.     Resistance is coming to the PSP. Sort of. Resistance: Retribution switches things up from what you would expect from a Resistance game. For one, it’s now a third-person shooter instead of a first-person shooter and there is a much heavier emphasis on cover. But the changes allow the game to play up the PSP’s strengths and makes for a very compelling experience. Read more

    It does not matter what type of games you prefer, you will like this game. It is THAT good. And to expound well beyond this review, there is an expansive multiplayer mode, and an "Infected" mode for those who have "Resistance 2" for the PS3. This surefire bet for "Hand Held Game Of The Year" gets a 5/5. Read more

    I've been a loyal PlayStation fan for ten years, but I have to admit that there lies a significant lack of games for Sony's consoles that hold the ability to keep a player intrigued through multiple installations (for example, Crash Bandicoot should have been put to pasture after "Wrath of Cortex").     This game is the perfect handheld shooter for the PSP. With stunning graphics as well as a stunning plot to the game, Resistance: Retribution has lived up to all it's hype. While playing this game online, you may notice that the game rarely lags and has a very high replay value. This verison of Resistance is an excellent copy of it's previous titles and other third-person-shooters. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the original console versions of the game...     If you like getting shot at while not being able to see where the enemy is, trying to "hurry" to reach a point only to have the character take cover behind some random waist high thing (but not all of them), trying to keep an npc alive as they stand in the open and get shot/killed, keeping that same npc alive only to have them die during the next cut scene or getting within a few feet of the end of a section only to die and have to start at the beginning then you will...
