The Sanyo PDG-DSU20E is the portable multimedia projector. It contains DMD panel with high-contrast optical system that achieves a contrast ration of 2,000:1 exhibiting both natural and smooth gradation. It weighs 2.5kg and of the dimensions 27.1 X 80.3 X 223.0 mm.

The Sanyo PDG-DSU20E has DMD Panel with high-contrast optical for providing contrast ratio of 2,000:1 which exhibits both natural and smooth gradation. It uses 0.55 inch DMD 1 chip (DarkChip1), DDP 2230 type X for display. It has the resolution of 800 x 600 p. To compensate for keystone (Trapezoidal) picture distortion, the PDG-DSU20 provides vertical keystone correction a correction range up to 15 degrees. It has auto input search which searches finds and displays incoming source signal automatically. The PDG-DSU20 uses 180 W UHP lamp for brightness and color reproduction. It produces 2,000 lumens of brightness. The projection screen size are 30” – 300 1.2 wide – 12(m) 100” at 3.9 – 4.3 m. It has the compatibility with WXGA, SXGA, XGA, SVGA, VGA of computers. It has 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i of HDTV. It supports the PAL, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC 4.43, Pal-M, Pal – N of color system.It has mini-jack for audio input and the communication terminal is through USB-B type. It has the 2W mono audio output. The fan noise of the PDG-DSU20E reaches 32 dBA under Economic mode. The package consists of Lens cap & strap, AC Power Card, VGA Cable, Remote Control with battery provided, Owners manual and also with Quick Start Guide. The optical accessories include 0.4m length cable and also a shipping case with external dimensions: 350 (W) x 340 (H) x 155(D) mm and it weighs 0.4 kg.

    This is a projector designed to work with a lap top and screen so you can do presentations or whatever where you want your computer screen projected. I also use it connected to a TV and VCR so you can project the image onto a larger screen, for showing to a whole room full of people. It costs £233 at the moment from the BT shop - that's the cheapest price I can find at the moment - I use mine at work, so I don't know what it actually cost. It is a portable projector, so...
