The CLP-300 hits four out of the five buttons you should want a colour laser to hit. It's inexpensive to buy, reasonably cheap to run, easy to use and maintain and prints quickly for its class. The only problem is a slightly heavy-handed print, which may need manual adjustment to get natural-looking images. Read more

It would be good to say that the CLP-300 offers everything you could want from a budget machine. In fact it ticks most of the boxes, but with one fairly important omission. It's cheap to buy, no more expensive than its competitors to run, gets quite close to its rated print speeds and is very easy to use. It's the colour print quality which isn't quite there. Like you I've just bought an Acer laptop (5920) running Vista. Unlike you I already had a colour laser printer - Samsung CLP300 click here and that works well with Vista and XP.
