    Purchased 11 months ago. Has been very good for home use text and graphic printing in mono and colour.
    My computer has XP SP3 software that will not recognise the printer driver software and every time the printer is turned on warning messages appear on screen. Matter taken up with Epson who stated that [basically tuff] the problem is known but don't do anything but cancel the on screen warnings! I am living with it.
    Recently tried [reputable] replacement ink cartidges to defray costs. The black has been very troublesome with patchy printing despite head cleaning etc several times. Now works but by heck head cleaning certainly used the ink!
    Not sure about another Epson bu purchase price originaaly very attractive.
