Good printer

Ken Lewis, Amazon
28 September 2014
  • Summary: My earlier order had been previously used and someone along the line had packaged it and put it with the new items. This was returned for a replacement, which, this time, was new and very quick to set up but did not contain either a USB cable and trial packet of paper as indicated on the associated paperwork supplied with the printer - poor show Epson. Other than that it took a matter of a minute or two to set it up and get it working.

Unreliable, wastes ink, and some print quality issues

S. J. King "zh84", Amazon
24 June 2013
  • Summary: I got this printer to replace an Epson laser printer which had worked well for nearly ten years. I tried to order another Epson laser printer, but Amazon referred me to another dealer which was out of stock and recommended this one instead. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. It is extremely temperamental about feeding paper, frequently reporting "Paper jam" or "Incorrect paper size loaded or no paper detected" with plain A4 paper, and it is virtually impossible to...

Cheaper than replacing dried up ink cartridges

L. Hughes "lhughes609", Amazon
28 October 2012
  • Summary: Bought a cheap colour laser printer for home as I got fed up with replacing dried up ink cartridges (yes, I tried to print something every week - didn't help much) so far very happy. Great quality for worksheets (I teach) and letters. Photos acceptable. Not yet had to pay for new toner cartridges.

Useless with pre-printed paper UPDATE BROKEN

DG, Amazon
24 October 2012
  • Summary: I bought this to replace an old, basic Epson colour laser printer whose name eludes me now. I needed one with an open tray to be able to insert different paper types easily for light business use. However, I get MULTIPLE paper jams on pre-printed sheets like company headed paper and pay slips, even when printing as few as SIX pages. Trying to print any number of company statements is a nightmare.

Laser printer

Thomas J. Anderson, Amazon
14 October 2012
  • Summary: For a Laser printer it was fairly cheap although the replacement cartridges are expensive, about £50 each for the high yield ones. I use it mainly in my degree studies to print off high volumes of notes and papers and as such it is ideal. It's straightforward to use and easily installed. It doesn't take up much space. An all-round, inexpensive laser printer.
