Review Summary

According to pcadvisor.com, the Canon Pixma iP2600 is one practical printer. Be it, its glorious exterior as they put it, or the fact that within the test conducted, no paper was jammed in the output tray. But on the same note, it is noted that there are no memory card slots and users are not provided with a PictBridge. A certain reviewer quoted that the Canon Pixma iP2600’s print speed figures are particularly laughable – for 22 pages per minute (ppm) and 17ppm on black and color respectively, read 8ppm…

Be it, its glorious exterior as they put it, or the fact that within the test conducted, no paper was jammed in the output tray. But on the same note, it is noted that there are no memory card slots and users are not provided with a PictBridge. A certain reviewer quoted that the Canon Pixma iP2600’s print speed figures are particularly laughable – for 22 pages per minute (ppm) and 17ppm on black and color respectively, read 8ppm and 3.2ppm. On the same line, it’s not bad considering its price. The draft modes are good, enough to please one’s eyes as they say. The quality produced is nothing to complain about overall. So are the graphics while the colors are said to be a little light. The fact that the inkjet is very much affordable has made this printer appealing to many specially the reviewers who are definitely impressed. Based on the few reviews noted, this printer is said to be very decent, based on its price combined with the performance. As quoted, it’s an excellent effort from Canon. From other reviewers at pcpro.com, they quoted that this printer won’t win prizes for features, but this inkjet offers good quality prints for a price that ‘beggars’ belief.

The high-gloss black and silver colouring of its range of printers and all-in-ones has become something of a house style for Canon. Even this low priced PIXMA iP2600 has many of the features which make its bigger, more expensive siblings popular and the elegantly simple design is one of them. Read more

I was looking for a printer the other day and couldnt decided which one to get, i bought the Lexmark z735 2years ago for about £15 but its seriously so expensive to run and not worth it at all. The Lexmark took forever to print one page and the ink cost about £15 average which didnt last long plus it being combined ink it always run out so much quicker, therefore i decided to spend a bit more on a better printer. Having looked around, i concluded to this printer, and i... Read more
