Hardware is all right but support stinks. Enthusiast Series appears to get no support.

  • Summary: This PSU arrived with only one modular cable for the SATA drives. I emailed Corsair support and asked if there should have been a second modular SATA cable. The answer was not clear from the documentation. Also if there should not have been a second SATA cable, how could I obtain one. Over a week or so I did not receive an answer. I tried to call support. I ended on an infinite HOLD. After an hour or so I went on my way.

All desktop computer components should be built this way

  • Summary: The only other equipment that I have seen constructed like this are the electronic components in A-6A aircraft. he wiring is 14-guage. The cable coverings are heavy duty. Because of the thickness of the cables, take extra time and care in routing and bending the cables. There is a cable with a connector to match every power input, with duplicates. If the mother board has only a 4 pin connector for CPU power, take a look at the 8-pin power connectors.

Good choice for power-hungry rigs; only semi-modular though...

  • Summary: Length:: 0:54 Mins A recent video card upgrade had the unintended consequence of forcing a concurrent power supply unit (PSU) upgrade when I discovered the OEM PSU in an Asus desktop did not have the required 6-in PCIe power plug needed to run the new card. In addition to to lacking PCIe power, the OEM PSU was 350W, and the replacement card required 150W of its own, so the need for an enhanced PSU became even clearer.
