Excerpt: This power supply is amazing. I have two video cards and run without any problem. The ideal price is between $ 90 and $ 100. 60A sends the +12 v rail. Everything about this unit, the price and the Amazon service is first-rate. Unit comes securly packaged first in protective padding, then some type of tyvek bag within a heavy box. Looks and feels well made. Plenty of leads and enough flexibility to connect to whatever you want.
Summary: Great PSU to power my Q6700 and Numerous other components and the 14cm fan takes alot of the heat away when the machine is being overworked. This psu arrived well packaged and well-protected and the cables although not modular came in a velvet bag, The black finish great and it appears to juice all the power-eating accessories (and 3 hard drives and a 8800GTS Graphics card and this unit handles it all easily.
Summary: That power supply is a very good choice for single video card systems of any kind. It would probably hold its own in a 2-video card system too. Good silent fan, modular cables quite easy to manage. Read up the techpowerup review for details. Corsair delivered again with this reliable model. Like many modular PSUs, there is a subset of cables soldered that you can't remove but, except for the obsolete Molex, all these cables are required even in the barest of builds.
Pros: Very good efficiency, Lot of expansion available
Summary: It works, provided clean power to all my components. However, this PSU makes a strange grinding sound, like a very loud mechanical hard drive when playing games. Apparently I'm not the only one to have this issue. Returned and bought an RM 750.
Summary: The Corsair enthusiast series is an excellent value. It has more than ample power output and includes an ATX cable, 2 EPS/ATX x 12v cables, 4 PCI-E cables, 8 SATA cables, 4 peripheral cables and 2 floppy cables. Plenty of output for the avid personal enthusiast to utilize.
Summary: I used this PSU for a couple weeks and it worked perfect and quite. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Good cable length. I did return this only because I upgraded to an SLI system and although this PSU is rated to work with two higher-level GPUs, I wanted to make sure I have enough power and them some. I was using it with a GTX 780 and it had no problem running that system. Would highly recommend unless you're going to SLI.
Great Power supply still after running it for 4 full years
30 September 2013
Summary: I now been using it for over 4 years and its still running like a champ, been in about 4 or 5 different computer builds so far. just be sure to clean it once in a while around the psu fan, you can use the Dust Buster from Datavac to blast it out so don't have to open the PSU and void the warranty.
Summary: I purchased this product for my new computer assuming that it would be a great component considering it was over the wattage I needed for my computer and at a more premium price and the reviews looked GREAT! Boy was I wrong.... I installed the first PSU into my computer and it was working fine, it powered my computer and I got that heavenly BIOS screen that was comparable to the birth of a new child.
