Summary: Really pleased with this PSU - easy to fit and very quiet in operation. Plenty of connector options and minimises bulky cable bundles in the case by selecting only those required at the time. Well packaged and very stylish. Shame such a stylish component is out of sight in the case.
Summary: Picked this up at Fry's today after doing weeks of research to find an upgrade for my Dell XPS 8300. The PSU comes in a professional box, with the modular cables in a nice velcro bag. The unit itself, while not the tentacled mess of some units, has a CPU and a mobo cable permanently attached. Not a problem since I need those anyway, but there is an extra CPU connection I did not need; maybe some higher end boards need two CPU connections?
Summary: I've had two of these - the first was great, the second would turn on for a half a second, then shut down. I went to the Corsair site, followed their instructions to perform a "paper clip test" (which the unit failed), then followed the on-site instructions for requesting an RMA number and returning the part, which I sent Fed-Ex, and which they received last Wednesday (the 2nd).
Summary: Good looking unit, nice layout, flexible wire harnesses. Unfortunately it failed on day 70, and I must now begin the process of dealing with Consair to obtain a replacement unit. Fortunately I had a trusty old Antec 500 unit lying around, so I can still operate my computer during the RMA process.
Summary: Arrived quickly. Installed easily. If you can turn a screwdriver, and plug and unplug a connector, you can replace your power supply! You only plug in the cables that you actually need inside of the PC, so you don't have a large bundle of unused wires and connectors blocking airflow inside of your PC case. This power supply is QUIET.
