Summary: Really pleased with this PSU - easy to fit and very quiet in operation. Plenty of connector options and minimises bulky cable bundles in the case by selecting only those required at the time. Well packaged and very stylish. Shame such a stylish component is out of sight in the case.
Summary: Buy from this company. Memory and PSU. You can't go wrong.
Pros: It has served me solid for a few years now. I started to have a suspected low voltage on one of the leads and contacted their CS. Without hesitation they offered to replace the PSU. And their people were very responsive and very clear and helpful. I would recommend this company and anything they make to anyone and everyone.
Pros: Started off fine, did everything it was supposed to do and then it failed and I had to RMA it
Cons: I returned it to Corsair and they received it on 12/12/2013. They charged my credit card $50 in Jamuary 2014 even though I returned it way back in December. Wrote email to them, nor reply. They still haven't let me know why they charged my credit card when they received to unit back in December. Bad return policy
Summary: So far it runs really quiet, I haven't even heard a fan turn on since I've installed it. Came with plenty of wiring, way more than I would ever need. Also the whining/squeaking sound people have been mentioning on the reviews, haven't materialized. So far I am very happy with the product, I'll post an update if that changes. Oh and according to the model number/packaging, this is the gold version.
Summary: I've had two of these - the first was great, the second would turn on for a half a second, then shut down. I went to the Corsair site, followed their instructions to perform a "paper clip test" (which the unit failed), then followed the on-site instructions for requesting an RMA number and returning the part, which I sent Fed-Ex, and which they received last Wednesday (the 2nd).
