Summary: I took an egg off because of the airflow issue. The lack of modular design I knew was coming when I purchased it. Aside from the Airflow issue I would recommend this Power Supply to a 1st time builder, or someone with a very tight budget.
Pros: -Durable (2 years old and still going) unlike my OCZ 600W Power Supply. -Looks great -Nice On/Off Switch for blue LED for your preference.
Cons: -Airflow is pulled from the bottom towards the top. This is a pain if your rig is setup in a dusty area (lucky I was a clean freak with my rig, so I noticed it). I wish they had stated that somewhere. -Not Modular
Summary: As said above, this power supply has held my system up for 16 months no problem Computer: i5-2500k at 4.4 ghz GIGABYTE GA-P67X-UD3-B3 Motherboard Gigabyte Geforce 670 gtx (Previous Gigabyte Geforce 460 gtx) 8 GB of G-Skill 1600 ddr3 ram Plextor 128 gb SSD Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 7200 rpm LG Dvd...
Pros: This 600 watt power supply has been running in my computer for 16 months now and I have never had an issue. I'm able to overclock my i5-2500k to 4.4 ghz in turbo mode with no issues with a Geforce 670 GTX. It's quiet so im able to sleep with it on in my room with no problem.
Cons: Not Modular so wire clutter in a mid tower is going to happen.
Summary: will rate again along with rest of build once it comes back.
Pros: solid build, looks clean
Cons: well.... it was dead when it got here, tried 3 different outlets thinking maybe my luck was that bad, but nope, it was the psu... which really sucks, because now i cant check the rest of my build to see if i have any other items that need an RMA.
Summary: A great PSU for a low to medium to high grade gaming PC.
Pros: I haven't had this for long but so far it's been great. 600 watts seems plenty enough to power my system so far which easily ran on my previous 500 watt as well. I purchased this knowing I would be upgrading so I figured this would do fine. I found it extremely easy to install, not even 15 minute...
Cons: It isn't modular, but I'm used to that so for me it isn't really a con just more of an inconvenience...
Summary: Asus P8Z77-V Pro Mobo Intel Core i5 2500k @ 3.30GHz CPU EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti Fermi GPU G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) RAM Crucial M4 128GB SSD ASUS 24X DVD Burner ODD
Pros: Was unsure whether it was enough for my system as a first time builder, however it seems to be fine and running cool. Albeit I don't have too much in my system; I'd assume with two GPUs I'd need a better PSU which I don't plan on.
Cons: Maybe the Blue LED light if you don't like LEDs? It matches my other LED light's color so it's whatever.
Summary: I would like some support to fix issue cause I'm unable to activate!
Pros: I received this as a gift from newegg from purchasing an Asus product, I downloaded steam to activate and download, said that what I entered was invalid I tried the key with the dashes and without still none! Don't buy this rip off!
