Summary: The Silent Pro M lives up to it’s name, it is as silent as they come. With my ear right beside the fan all I heard was the crickets outside my window. This PSU is quite and doesn’t produce a lot of heat. Being partially modular it’s easy to avoided extra wires hanging everywhere. Don’t expect this to support flagship video cards but it has enough wattage to support a lot of high end computer systems and do it efficiently and reliably.
Excerpt: One thing that most people rarely put much thought into when buying a computer is the power supply unit (PSU). They are more concerned with how much money they can save on it, how fast the CPU is or how good the graphics card is. The thing that a lot of people overlook is that the PSU is the key to a powerful computer. If you add an extra hard drive or a more powerful video card and you do not have enough power, weird things can happen.

Summary: With the Silent Pro M600 Cooler Master have managed to create a very high quality product with stellar all around performance. The strongest aspect of this product is acoustics performance, which can easily compare to that of entirely fanless (and vastly more expensive) products. The anti-vibration silicon pads are a nice addition even though this unit will not be causing any vibrations itself, they can dampen vibrations caused by other components.
Summary: Overall, I was very pleased to work with the Cooler Master Silent Pro M 600W power supply. The Silent Pro M hangs with some of the finest power supplies in many ways, including noise level, thermal performance, and electrical performance. It is uncommonly good, however, in its implementation of cabling, included bundle, and overall design.
On the front of noise and heat, the Silent Pro M performed very well.
