Summary: This UPS is brilliant. I bought it and came in before schedule, the unit is a little bit longer than expected but looks great next to my computer, even in plain view. On the back you have 8 IEC connectors 4 of them are battery operated and 4 surge protected only. Two of the 4 battery operated connectors are called Master, these ones are managed by the ups internal firmware and when the power goes below a set value of Watts the 2 controlled by master connectors on the...

Summary: Excellent product! I use this in my home office/work area for my NAS (Network Attached Storage) and main PC. I have it set with the software so it will shutdown my PC when battery power is low. Around 30 Minutes battery life with everything connected.

Summary: Since I bought this I have had 10 or so short power cuts and this has kept the WIFI/NAS/HIVE/PC running fine. Has saved me so much time resetting things and has prevented any risk of damage to the kit. It's well built, the software works fine and it is great for home use.
Summary: Died after 2 weeks of use with a non-user repairable system fault (F05) but as I bought it from Amazon in July (now October) I cannot return it and APC not interested so a complete waste of money.
Summary: Outstanding. Haven't brought a UPS since our generic model died some years ago after a short life. APS back then were much more expensive and although you can still get cheaper generic models - this model seemed to fit our requirements and had a 2 year guarantee. It was very easy to setup and came with TWO leads already (which I didn't see on the description so ordered too many extras!).
Summary: Had it a while now and can't fault it. Been a year roughly since I got it. Doesn't make any noise has more than enough outlets. Switched the mains off the other day and it ran my 27" Mac playing a film for nearly 90 mins before I lost my nerve and switched the mains back on.
Summary: This was my first UPS. I recently moved home and the power supply to my new address is less than reliable. Turn on anything powerful and the lights dim, plus three occasions when the power cut unexpectedly in the last four months. I was unsure how long the BR900GI would power my computer (21.5 inch iMac); turns out it can keep it going for an hour after the power is cut. Obviously this would be less if I were to plug in other accessories like the external hard drives.
