Just one look at this gorgeous portable DVD player and you're smitten. It's class from top to bottom, boasting a whopping 10.2in, 16:9 screen that swivels through 180-degrees and a lovely gloss-black and white finish. It's not bad on the inside either, with support for DVD, CD, DivX, MP3, WMA and JPEG. Read more

The widescreen packs in detail you've come to expect from DVDs, and the battery life is well suited for a unit of this size. The heat output is also on par with other units in its class. All in all, this unit has the punch and features we've come to expect from Philips. Read more

I love the dvd player itself! It kept my 1 year old busy for a bit while we were in the car on our way to grandma's. (a 4 hour drive)I could also put it in a million different positions to see which worked best! There wasn't an angle or position that I couldn't do with it! The only cons I can say are are minor. First the road we drive on (95 through SC) is pretty bumpy and occasionally the screen would start to fall down and we would have to push it back up. The other... Read more

Nice, compact, great screen and sound. Perfect for travel. To turn off chapter title go to the Philips site, get the download burn it on a CD. Do not worry about the details it lists, Just copy it like any other file. Be sure to name the disk Philips. Great picture. The one phone jack is in my opinion a big engineering oversight, they should put one on each side. The iSplitter made by Monster for the iPod works produces a very good sound or you can go to Radio Shack and... Read more

Bought this for a Christmas present. When it arrived thought it looked great, good size and a nice wide screen. Boyfriend loved it on Christmas day but when he tried to play some of his DVD's only 3 worked out of the 10 he tried, one of these was brand new and never been watched. When the DVD's were put into the player it couldn't read them and it started made a very loud whiring sound. Having initially been really pleased with my purchase I ended up being really...
