    Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was a hugely important game for the PlayStation 3. Up until its release there was little defence against those detractors of the console rightly pointing out the utter dearth of quality, exclusive games for the console. And then Uncharted came along. Oh, sure, it was derivative, but it's hard to find fault in a game that derives from the likes of Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider and Gears of War while still feeling fresh. Read more

    Such dedication to delivering a wealth of online modes and executing them with the same flawless delivery of the offline campaign is admirable and evidence that Naughty Dog understand that any game with true staying power needs to have an appealing  and expansive online element.     I have not played the first one , but this one is excellent. Its full of suspense , you can't predicted easliy whats going to happen next to your character. The pace changes constantly while playing this game, one min your having a discussion with someone about something and the next min your hanging off a cliff hoping you don't fall to a all so pain filled death.     I received Uncharted 2 on the PS3 for Christmas and didn't start playing it until yesterday as I was worried I would rip through it like I did with the first one :) It picks up nicely from the first game; you start the game as Drake regaining consciousness on board a train car that is dangling off a mountain.     Could quite possibly be the best PS3 game so far. Not only is single player so much better than the original, the multiplayer is a real surprise and has proved the doubters wrong. As soon as you start the game, you're thrown into the deep end - teetering over the edge of a massive cliff, strapped into a train seat, bleeding heavily from your gut.
