List All 9 PricesYou'll have to look to the inevitable Killzone 3 to find out if developer Guerilla can dig any diamonds out of this series' rough narrative. Otherwise, Killzone 2 is an exceptional first-person shooter, not because it does anything particularly new, but because it does everything extraordinarily well. There's certainly no doubting its graphical superiority, but though its moody visuals invite incessant superlatives, it's the tight, electric action that will make this an... Read more
Spectacular from start to finish. It doesn't innovate (and no co-op is a cop out) but its visual prowess and insane action make Killzone 2 unmissable. Read more
As stunningly gorgeous as Killzone 2 truly can be, like its elder sibling, it’s lacking that certain something to really nudge it right to the very top of the pack. We can live with a short single-player campaign, the clichéd storyline and inane chatter from your squad mates, and we can suffer through the odd sudden jarring difficulty jumps that the game frequently tosses in your general direction. But the simple fact is that Killzone 2 simply doesn’t have all the... Read more
The amount of hype surrounding Killzone 2 is almost as unbelievable as the game's visuals. Since the first controversial pre-rendered trailer appeared almost four years ago the game has constantly been one of the oases in the drought of PS3 exclusives. Finally with us after a lengthy and fairly secretive development process, is it worth the wait? Read more

The original ’Killzone’ on PS2 was average at best, as it felt sluggish, linear, and the A.I got very repet*tive quickly. This excellent sequel however is vastly superior in every way. The graphics are simply stunning, with lots of attention to detail, and the game plays extremely smoothly too (unlike the original). I recommend playing this on hard difficultly level, as tactics are required rather than just run forward and shoot (IMO thats just boring). If you like... Read more
The graphics are downright amazing. There are rarely any moments of screen tearing or texture pop-in, light is reflected and distorted well through smoke, through water, and even through the green-tinted scope of your default assault rifle - even while aiming down the sights, the scope reflects and distorts minor details that lie behind the character. The sound is equally superb. Each weapon sounds suitably powerful, and the heavy thud of your boots, coupled with the... Read more
Summary: Excellant game! Hope same can come from yet another sequel later this year! Read more
