Infamous 2

An upcoming open world video game, Infamous 2 is published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Sucker Punch Productions. This game is set to be released in June 2011 for the game console PlayStation 3. Infamous 2 is a sequel to the 2009 video game Infamous. This game takes place in a new city known as New Marais, a New Orleans-inspired city. The protagonist of this game is Cole MacGrath goes to New Marais in order to enhance his electrical abilities. The game starts off with Cole fighting with the Beast in Empire City. Cole barely escapes alive and along with his friend Zeke, they flee to New Marais to prepare for his inevitable confrontations with the Beast. Then, Cole encounters the Militia, an organization led by a man called Bertrand and the Corrupted. Subsequently, the organization, Militia has taken over New Marais in an attempt to keep all the superpower or abnormal entities away. Soon after, Cole encounters Wolfe, who is one of the men involved in the Ray Sphere’s creation. In this game, Cole will fight against the Corrupted and the Militia, explore New Marais and will learn about himself while on his way to gain new abilities to face the Beast.

Features

Infamous 2 allows the players to create their own missions and could distribute them to other players as User-generated content. Other than that, players are able to use any of the location in the open-world game and use any available foes, allies and non-player character to create their own missions. These missions could include stealth elements, combat, limitations on Cole’s powers, race plus platform challenges. Many of these user created missions will appear to other players randomly as they go thru the game’s story and each level. After completing each mission, players could rate them.
