But the few plus points simply aren’t enough. The hype simply wasn’t worth it, and Haze deserves to find itself confined to the bargain bins sooner rather than later. Read more

Regardless of its name, it’s still clear to see Haze is a disappointing game based on a weak premise that has been half-heartedly realised. As a result it is all too easy to label it one of the greatest disappointments the industry has seen in the past few years. Read more

A seven-hour campaign and uneventful multiplayer modes just don't cut it in light of the far better modern shooters available on the market. The patchy quality of the entire package is surprising, considering the developer's fine pedigree. Yet Haze is a roller-coaster ride made up of tall peaks and unfathomable valleys, and it won't leave you so much breathless as disappointed with its squandered potential. Read more

Okay so hugely disappointing for so many reasons. The game starts off reasonably well but the first thing that stands out for me is that the three typical visual effects (cinematics, cutscenes and in game play) are massivley different in quality. The cinematics are exceptional and much like in Army of Two they are so far beyond the in game play graphics - photo film quality. Then there is the middle ground of cutscences, which look basic and blocky. Why oh why do... Read more

With games like Killzone and Resistance being Playstation exclusives for First-Person shooters, back in 2008 just last year a lot of people were looking forward to a game called HAZE which is a First-Person shooter. Most gamers would know that this game was made by Free Radical anyone a fan of the Timesplitters series? (I know I am), most fans thought that there was going to be a Timesplitters 4 on the PS3. But Free Radical decided to create another franchise for the... Read more

First the classic ’Goldeneye 007’, then the superb ’Perfect Dark’, and then the enjoyable ’TimeSplitters’ series, and now ’Haze’. Free-Radical know how to make a decent FPS, and this will be a winner! And it’s a playstation 3 exclusive too! Xbox owners can keep their over-rated ’Halo’ franchise! - in fact no-end of Xbox owners get excited at the prospect of ’goldeneye’ appearing on Xbox live! (which it won’t!), and i’ve seen a few fanboys on... Read more

Haze was one of my first purchases for the ps3 , hoping it would be our halo. Alas i was left dissapointed , everything about this game was badly done , the graphics , the storyline, gampleplay and online, ubisoft didnt put a foot right. ===storyline=== The storyline is based around a team of american fighters who take the drug nectar to heighten their fighting ability, soon things start to go wrong and you are left to fight against the establishment that once controlled...
