The game features Niko performing new actions such as climbing telephone poles and fire escapes, pushing people who knock into him. It will also be possible to have multiple active missions, due to the fact that some missions will take many days and will require the player to wait for further instructions to be able to go on with the game. Mobile phones can be used to perform multiple actions. A version of the phone appears at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and a list of several commands is available to the player, such as "meet me here," and so on. Retrying a failed mission is also possible by accessing to the menu. The phone can also be used outside vehicles to listen to the radio. The player can take photos with the mobile phone and upload them to the police computer. According to reviewers the game can be basically played from beginning to end without a single load screen. The soundtrack has been described as “modern and suits the mood perfectly”. Actually no characters from the previous games are returning, as a lot of them are already dead.

Ultimately, though, GTAIV manages to win your forgiveness on just about every occasion. How does it manage this? Just as every other GTA title managed it – through its delivery of one of the deepest, most engaging and thoroughly rewarding experiences you can enjoy on a console. The GTA series has always been more than just a game. GTAIV is no exception. It consistently surpasses your expectations to the point where it becomes more an extension of yourself than a mere... If you're old enough to play Grand Theft Auto IV then there's simply no question that you should. It stands alone. There is no alternative that comes anywhere close to capturing the joy of virtual existence in Liberty City - and that's exactly why it deserves full marks, because it pushes the envelope for immersive, modern, virtual worlds further than any other game - that and the fact that it simply has to be played by anyone with an interest in videogames. If you... Read more

In 1997 Scottish games developer DMA Design released the first Grand Theft Auto on PC and PlayStation. A top-down, free-roaming crime-em up, GTA gained controversy and acclaim in equal amounts for its violent gangster gameplay, car-jacking focus and superbly risqué soundtrack. A decade later, the now renamed Rockstar Games is responsible for changing the face of gaming. PS2 Grand Theft Auto III gave gamers a fully 3D playground in which to explore, play, and affect... The long awaited game for me was Grand Theft Auto IV. After wating with great anticipation for this game to be released i was not disappointed! I purchased the game on its release day for £44.99 after queuing for half an hour to get my hands on a copy! The plot like many of the previous games in the collection is you take on the role of a criminal new to the area who is seeking work for payment from local other criminal gangs. As you progress through the game you meet...
