    On further inspection of the game, my friend and I actually concluded that it was quite an interesting game, sure it may have been a little disappointing in terms of the graphical capability (even more disappointing considering it was on Playstation 3), but it was fun, a feature that some game creators have neglected and forgotten to put into their games.     Ugly, dated and very user-unfriendly. That it arrived in the office the same week as Battlefield: Bad Company only emphasised its inferiority. Bad Company may not be great value, but it is high quality and well tailored to the PS3. This is neither. Read more

    iD Sofware's first person shooter pedigree is undeniably of the highest quality. Back in the nineties wit titles like Doom & Wolfenstein 3D, the company knew what PC gamers wanted and delivered. But that was then and this is now. These days other developers are regarded as the innovators (take a bow, Valve), and game mechanics have evolved from just shooting seven shades of sh*t out of oncoming waves of opposition.
