Devil May Cry 4 is a challenging game, though not extremely challenging. The game features a lot of gameplay choices so you are able to choose according to your preferences. You can initially choose one of two difficulties, then go on to more difficult levels. You can even choose whether you want the game to perform some combos for you automatically. You will play as Dante, with a good selection of weapons and fighting styles but for the most part of the game you’ll play as Nero, the newcomer, who also has a variety of exciting and stylish moves. However the game lacks some surprises. In Devil May Cry 4 every shocking and bloody scene is followed by an equally funny one that blends with the story. Some reviewers find the game quite good with some quite extraordinary action sequences made easy by precise controls. They even like Nero’s new character with its new moves and the glossy animations. The visuals are stunning and the game continuously amazes you, the characters are well designed and fun to fight. However some reviewers find that there are too many repetitions of the fights and the environments and after some time the game is no longer fun.
Everything seems to be in the right place on both the Xbox 360 and on the Playstation 3, DMC fans have waited a long time for the 4th installment to one of the biggest selling titles in gaming history. It is well worth the wait and although a little bit slow at times with longer than usual loading times and plenty of cut scenes, we are sure that Devil May Cry 4 will have you on the edge of your seat for hours. Sony fanboy! You curse. Err no. You see Devil may Cry belongs on the Playstation like Mario Belongs on the Nintendo. The only reason why Capcom gave the Xbox Devil May Cry is to make more money. But this in turn now means Playstation owners have nothing to brag about. Nothing to say ?HAHA! Look what I've got? because of course, xbox owners will have it too. Read more
Devil May Cry 4 is a stunning triumph of an action game that easily competes with greats like God of War II and Ninja Gaiden Sigma . Capcom took everything that was great about the DMC series and amped it up through the roof - every level is as jam packed with stunningly directed cut scenes as it is with fearsome demons and brutal bosses, the varying locations and challenging enemies offering endless eye candy that betters almost every other action game I've seen thus... Those drawn to DMC4 only for the flash combat and preposterous cut scenes may never notice, finishing the game in perhaps ten hours, unlocking a few more bits and bobs on a higher difficulty and trading it in for something else, satisfied that they got their money's worth. That doesn't change the fact that underneath the fireworks and glitter that the generation-jump brings DMC4 is a far less complete video game than its predecessors, and being new to the series will ...
