Review Summary
The Colin McRae- DIRT is a PS 3 driving games. The game has a good car design, track design, and damage modeling. You will get a co driver in the game. It has lots of driving games with great visuals. The cars look high quality models. The game is featured with a damage modeling which can lose bumpers, doors, break glass, outdo paintjob, roll your ride into a trampled and malformed a mess. There are also many types of tracks such as the Japan rain-slick tracks and the Italy dusty back roads, the UK muddy and rough countryside tracks. The game also provides special effects such as lighting which adds up the atmosphere of each track differently. It is fun driving especially along the desert mountain which has a good sight. It has a fantastic audio system. The advantages of this game are that it has 6 distinct racing disciplines, a mix of arcade which is fun, good looking cars, and an imitation driving. While the disadvantages are that the car sometimes floating in the air and the multiplayer options are not that good. Hence, viewers really like the tracks which look wonderful. Plus, people like the PS3 version’s frame rate which maintains a steady 30 fps.

All round, Colin McRae DIRT is fine game which mixes just the right amount of depth with the kind of accessibility that should open up the brand to the kind of audience it always deserved. Sure, some of Codies tactics in 'going mainstream' are a tad irksome, but in the main the game succeeds by not only being exceptionally good fun to play, but being unquestionably one of the finest looking racing games on the market too. With only an undercooked online element and po... Read more

That said, the multiplayer support is really the only thing about DiRT you can call truly disappointing. On every other front, DiRT delivers a racing experience that's a lot of fun to play, as well as visuals that are an absolute joy to watch. The PS3 version's inclusion of a steadier frame rate, slightly better audio quality, and support for the Logitech G25 force feedback steering wheel helps define it as the best of the bunch. If you already picked up one of the pr... Read more
