Battlefield 3 is a first-person shooter game that is going to be released somewhere in 2011 for various game consoles including PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. This game is published by Electronic Arts plus developed by EA Digital Illusions CE. Battlefield 3 is the 12th title in the video game series, Battlefield and is a sequel to the earlier 2005 video game, Battlefield 2.

Features

Battlefield 3 will be featuring few types of modes that could be chosen by the players which are co-operative player mode, multiplayer modes and single-player campaign mode. The single-player campaign mode will be taking place in the upcoming years of 2014. Meanwhile, this shooting game takes place in several cities around the world which are Tehran, Paris, New York and Sulaymaniyah. Nevertheless, the game would be covering places like urban streets, open landscapes plus metropolitan downtown areas too. Battlefield 3 will be reintroducing some elements that were missing from the video games, Bad Company which include 24-player battles, fighter jets and the prone position. There will be a new destructible environment feature which uses DICE’s new Frostbite engine. This Frostbite engine enables real realistic view on how a seven storey building could collapse during an earthquake turning into piles of debris and smoke. Other than that, this game features a new animation system too that allows the players to control the fallen comrade and could drag them into safety places as well as building up the amount of weapons owned. Moreover, an ANT technology, a new type of character animation technology will be available in this game. This character animation technology works on making the characters looking more real and actual as well as characters such as soldiers would be able to be more flexible by turning their head before their body.
