Among the Z-5500 main features include 5.1 digital encoding that enables the user to listen Dolby® digital and DTS sounds and it is also THX certified sounds that guarantee quality sounds produced. Besides that, the sound generated produces up to 505 Watts which entitled the system ideal for home theatre speaker system. It also features 10 inches long-throw subwoofer with tuned bass port that provides 188 Watts of powerful and distortion-free bass. Its aluminium phase plug satellite speakers provide the clarity of a tweeter and rich separate mid-range. It also enables up to six components to be connected via its digital and analogue outputs. Digital SoundTouch control panel featured enables the user to control volume on all speakers, set inputs and others. Moreover, the wireless remote that included can control up to seven sources. The satellite speakers are also wall-mountable that enable the user to switch them from desktop to wall by just rotating the stands. The multimedia system is compatible with PC/Mac, CD player, MP3 player, DVD player, PlayStation and Xbox.
