After owning some Creative T300i's for over a year, hearing the sound from these speakers made me feel lucky to own them. The X-140s lower frequencies aren't very strong compared to a 2.1 system, but overall the sound isn't that bad for music. Anyone but a real audiophile could get along with these quite easily. On first purchasing these speakers, I was a little unsure what to expect due to the price I was paying (£15 from Play.com). I knew, by the fact they were made by Logitech, that they wouldn't be your usually cheap rubbish, and so I decided to click pay, and pay. On arrival, I couldn't wait to get the box open... with my first concern being... "Wow their big". First sights were not a problem, as it was mainly the sound I bought them for... which I found to be very good... Read more

While I was away from my desk, a co-worker heard what she thought was water running in my office. After searching my office for the problem, she called Maintenance to report a... Read more
Decent enough sound for the price and I like the fact there are two inputs, one for computer connection and another for other devices such as iPods. The main problem is that they must have no magnetic shielding as they pick up mobile phone interference quite badly. I was hoping to be able to open them up to add some shielding but you can't get them apart. That's that main reason I've dropped it a couple of stars from the four I would have given otherwise.
