Bose Companion 5 is a PC multimedia speaker system that includes a subwoofer and two speakers.

Features

The Companion 5 provides a 5.1 surround-sound experience from just three speakers that include a subwoofer and two satellites. The main speakers are well designed, and the subwoofer is designed in a large oblong box. There is a desktop controller, its outer ring controls the volume and with a quick tap the user enables to mute the speakers. It features a 3.5mmheadphone jack and a 3.5mm input for an audio MP3 player. These speakers are easy to arrange too, the user just have to arrange them according to the layout instructions, connect all the colour-coded cables to the corresponding ports and then the user enables to set the audio preferences to 5.1 in the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties control panel. The Companion 5 features an integrated audio amplifier in the system and uses wired connectivity technology. The user enables to controls bass and volume; and also mutes the sound. In addition, the system also features satellite magnetic shield. Connector enabled into the system are 1 x Audio line-in ( Mini-phone 3.5 mm ), 1 x Headphones ( Mini-phone 3.5 mm ) and 1 x USB. The standard package includes a USB cable, satellite speaker stand and a remote control. The subwoofer measures 7.1 in x 14 in x 8.6 in and weighs 15.4 lbs. Satellite speaker measures 5.8 in x 3.8 in x 8.9 in and weighs 2 lbs each.
