The FX3022s are impressive-looking speakers that perform well when it comes to gaming and movies, but not nearly as well with music. Then again, the tech-obsessed will most likely have a different sound system for their music and won't be listening to their tunes on their computers, but it's still something to keep in mind. We certainly wouldn't recommend them if your main aim is to listen to music on your PC -- but that shouldn't rule them out for everyone. Edited by... Read more

One of the intriguing things about speakers is how different they can be. Sound being the subjective and inherently analogue element that it is there's almost no end to the different approaches companies can take to creating the best experience. A good case in point is the Altec Lansing Expressionist Bass speaker set we're looking at today. Read more

Certainly more stylish than the square looking Creative G-series speakers, the Altec Lansing Expressionist BASS FX3022WHT PC speakers (a mouthful we know) will bring that certain Doctor Who (we will exterminate) feeling to your office desk. As for performance, overall we were very impressed, not enough to want to replace our Creative T3s (in fairness they are twice the price) but enough that we would be happy to recommend these to you to check out. Black or white, both... Read more

Bass fiends rejoice! Buy the Expressionist Bass FX3022 and you won’t need a separate subwoofer, thanks to the long-throw bass drivers, housed in the twin gloss black towers. Read more

This is a great unit, am really happy with it. Saw them in Harvey Norman and theought it looked like a Dalek! But managed to get a listen of these speakers and was hooked. The sub-woofer is at the base and can really pound out the tunes. I have an inner city apartment and these are perfect for the surroundings. I recently had a party for friends and these new trendy looking speakers became the talking point for most of the night. My mates couldnt believe the power in... Read more

For 100 dollars, these speakers are great... There's no subwoofer, so don't expect your electronica or hip-hop to boom, but they provide solid base for most music and at low to mid levels, they sound excellent for all music. If what you want is something for the computer in the kitchen, or you don't listen to your music really loud, I can't think of a reason why not to get these. Read more

When I saw these on Amazon on offer I didn't hesitate one second. The best speakers I have owned so far. Sound better than my previous set (JVC with sub woofer). Read more
