Summary: Excellent combat, A bit glitchy, and stif character models The story does not seem as long as dragon age 1, and the story does not feel
finished once you beat the game which is done on purpose to make you buy extra
down loadable content. Try to finish every mission before you go to the next act on this game
because you will not be able to redo the missions without restarting the whole
Summary: Average. The only word I can use to explain the long awaited sequal to a
brilliant game. Initially the game takes a hold of you and you are immersed in a
world and story line never used or seen before. Next thing you know it, the game
has finished and your left wondering if you really got what you paid for. However the biggest concern was that there seemed to be some corners cut with
development to rush the game into the marketplace.
Summary: Bioware seems to have sold out, it appears this and mass effect are going to
suffer from “make an addon call it a new game slap an ascending number on
it” Anyone wonder why mass effect 2 seemed so shallow untill about 50–100$
worth of expansions had been dumped on it- – same reason this one feels
shallow and incomplete, like buying a book where it goes chap 1 – 3 skips
the middle and hello that the end of the book , want to see what happens in the
middle bit- pay up!
Summary: Thanks to the focus on the console this game feels like a dumbed down version
of the first and more like something you would expect to find on your
iPhone. It takes about 10hours to play through where you will find to gripping parts
of the story, the rest of the game involves doing side quests that really do
have nothing to do with the main game.
Summary: I just finished Dragon Age 2 today after purchasing it only earlier this
week, as I expected it to be a GREAT RPG. Sadly my expectations were diminshing
as the game progressed. Dragon Age Origins was what I would call GREAT as an RPG, just as
Neverwinter Nights was. It took me approximately 20–21 hours gameplay to
complete the story of Dragon Age 2. As it is set only in one city, Kirkwall,
I believe that limits the potential of what Dragon Age Origins was.
Summary: I was very disappointed in this game. The game was to controlling unlike the other Dragon age games. You cannot just wander around you have to stay on the story line. I felt this game was boring and a ripoff.
Summary: This game was sold on the success of a previous game. Sadly, this game plays nothing like Dragon Age:Origins. If you are someone looking for Neverwinter Nights or Dragon Age Origins type of game style, this game simply isn't worth your time. If you are someone who enjoys an action game which safely allows you to skip half the dialog without any regret, this game may turn out alright for you.
Summary: You know when you read a book and you just can't put it down because the story is so compelling, well that was how Dragon Age:Origins was for me. When I heard about Dragon Age 2 (DA2) I was looking forward to seeing Bioware expand on the award winning game they had created. Sadly I just don't see DA2 doing that. I probably played about 70% of the content and that was pushing myself but I just got to overwhelmed with boredom.
Summary: I just finished playing DA2. It took me some 50hrs as a mage, I think I solved more than 95% of quest in the game. Taking that into account my criticism is well based. I'll keep it short: main problem of this game, as many here have already stated, is in it's name. Same story was with Fallout 3, when you had an army of children who were saying you should look at it without comparing it to F1 & F2. 99% of them never played the two previous games.
