List All 6 PricesIt's been two years since the flying Scot passed his final timing checkpoint, and while the world of rallying obviously misses him, does his gaming legacy miss him too? After all, there's still no 'Rally' in that title. Read more
The problem is, no matter how disappointing this is, DiRT 2 is unashamedly addictive. It'll certainly disappoint the rallying purists and it doesn't have enough content to be the jack of all trades and master them, but everything it does is done so smoothly you almost couldn't care less - were it not for all the loud-mouthed Americans vying to be the new 'voice' of DiRT, that is. The series will miss you, Colin, because you could shut them all up. Read more
While racing games don't have a lot of depth to them, with virtually no story behind them and a relatively simple concept, it doesn't mean that it's easy to develop one. It was nice to see the developer acknowledging the star whose name has helped produced one of the most popular racing series of recent times. Read more
Dirt 2 is a progressive racing game. As you win races, you earn unlocks which enable you to race on more tracks, buy more cars, have more liveries, horns, dashboard icons etc. The physics are pretty good. I rate the physics engine 4 out of 5 stars. Breaking is fine but switching to reverse (brake pedal) seems to be a bit too fast. The force feedback isn't that bad but it doesn't mimic the steering wheel in the virtual cockpit that well. When running over a rock, the... Read more
