An open world horror and action adventure video game, Dead Island is developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver. This game is set to be released sometime in 2011 for various game consoles which include Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows.

Features

Dead Island is about a mysterious island set in the Royal Palms Resort, in a fictional place, Banoi which is located in Papua New Guinea. Then, suddenly the island turns into madness and chaos where a group of contagious zombies attack the island. The characters in this game must find a way to get out of this island as well as finding a way to protect the remaining survivors and investigate what is really going on there. This game focuses more on a serious, desperation and first person action gameplay. Dead Island features multiplayer which allows the players to play in a 4 player co-op multiplayer that enables the players could drop in or out of each other players’ game. Other than that, this horror and action game provides a variety of weapons for the players to collect such as simple wooden bats, fire-axes, heavy rifles and many more. This feature consists of a weapon customization system which allows the players to create their own weapon in order to stay alive. RPG-like elements along with un-lockable skill trees and XP/Leveling system enable the players to create their own exclusive main character or protagonist. Moreover, this game’s damage system offers great unprecedented visual details of each effect on each every attack that happen. Dead Island offers many challenges and things to do on an open world setting, Banoi. These challengers progress the story of the game as well as the characters. In this game, there is a stamina bar where the players need to regain again after a fight.
