LG GSA-E60L

The LG GSA-E60L is a 20x External Super Multi DVD Rewriter featuring SecurDisc which provides data protection and content access control on media through an optical drive-software combined solution as well as has the ability to store data redundantly and digitally authenticating data. Besides that, it is also 8.5 GB double/ dual layer compatible which means that it can record up to 4 hours of high quality video in MPEG 2 format. The LG GSA-E60L measures 16 cm in terms of width by 23 cm in terms of depth by 5 cm in terms of height, weighing approximately 1.5 kg.

Features

The LG GSA-E60L uses a media loading tray, has USB 2.0 interface and is of an external enclosure type which comes in black and silver. It features super multi read and write which means that it can read and write in all 3 DVD formats, namely DVD +R, DVD –R and DVD-RAM, thus giving you the freedom to choose the media you want to use. Besides that, it also incorporates LightScribe technology which allows you to create silkscreen-quality disc labels direct from your PC via a laser printing technology. Other than that, the LG GSA-E60L reads at a speed of 48x for CDs and 16x for DVDs, as well as writes at a speed of 48x for CDs, 20x for DVD +R/ -R and 10x for DVD +R DL/ -R DL. The LG GSA-E60L supports recording modes such as disc-at-once, track-at-once, packet writing, session-at-once, random access write and sequential write. It supports the following CD formats which include CD Text, CD Extra, CD-DA (audio), CD-I, CD-ROM XA, Photo CD, Video CD, CD-ROM and DVD-Video. Besides that, it has an average access time of 145 ms for DVD, 135 ms for CD and 270 ms for DVD-RAM. The LG GSA-E60L has a buffer size memory or 2MB and also features built-in Buffer Under Run protection as well as Secur Disc. It also follows the following compliant standards such as CD-Bridge, Video CD and MultiRead. The LG GSA-E60L is powered via a power adaptor.
