WWF No Mercy seem to comes as close to providing a complete WWF wrestling experience as you can get without laying out in the squared circle and receiving a People’s Elbow or a full on body-slam. Read more
Despite having an identical rating, Dale and I arrived at the same destination rather differently. Dale notes in his review of WWF No Mercy that there are moderately remarkable improvements over its predecessors, but doesn't seem think these updates are anything ground-breaking. Up until the Smackdown games really started getting their momentum, the N64's No Mercy game was regarded as the best wrestling game ever made. Looking back, it's not so hot, but it's still a great game with many outstanding visuals.
