As fantastic as the Samsung NC10 sounds it’s not all plus points. The touchpad is a touch on the short side, making internet browsing a little trickier than it could have been. It does come packed with a fairly hefty amount of Samsung related bloatware too. All of which can be easily removed, but it makes that first hour of use not quite as fun as you’d have hoped. There is no 3G modem either, a feature now more prominent on netbooks, but not a surprising omission... Read more
The Samsung NC10 is so sexy that It’d garner more looks than a naked woman running on a football pitch. Okay, maybe not that sexy, but in comparison to its contemporaries, this netbook is Brad Pitt. Can the innards match the outards? Read on… Read more
Samsung, with its NC10, is one of the last major computer makers to come up with a mini-notebook, and while it might have been late to arrive, it has come up with one of the best 'netbooks' around. Under the skin the NC10 is as standard as mini-notebooks get: there's an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of memory, wired and wireless network connections, Bluetooth and a 160GB hard disk for storage, with the Windows XP operating system installed upon it. All of those... Read more

I bought this samsung nc10 netbook on the strength of other Samsung products in our household. Fed up with promised but failed functionalities from mobile phones, smartphones etc. I needed something that would deliver on all counts. Wi-Fi, broadband on the move with legible screens and functional Java, Flash etc., Contact management, 'proper' keyboard and above all - LONG battery life. Having looked at all the smaller versions, win/nux, 3 - 9" screens, midget keyboards... Read more

I bought a Samsung NC10 netbook in July. It's a very capable piece of hardware and we were very happy with it until it required service. Last week large black spots appeared on the screen. We sent it back for a warranty repair to Intelisol, which is a third party which contracts with Samsung to service their netbooks. Word came back that the screen was cracked and that this was not covered by the warranty. My choices were poor: 1. I could pay a $50 "evaluation" fee,... Read more

Great little computer but unfortunately the NC10 has a fault which is widely reported on IT bulletin boards and experienced by me personally. The screen goes intermittent white-out. No known fix. Appears to be a hardware problem (poor monitor connection) as the screen returns to normal if you wiggle it. Read more
