The C4480 is slower and not quite as sharp as Canon's excellent MP630. Nevertheless, it's a lot cheaper to buy and very economical run when paired with HP's XL cartridges. Read more

I have just ordered the USB cable from [...] so I only tested without connecting to my computer. I got it for free when I bought my MAC. I moved to Africa and I bought new ink cartridges in France (HP original), but when I try to install them I get a message that they are incompatible, although they are for this printer (as stated in the box). The reason seems to be that the printer is region blocked and only accept cartridges purchased in the USA. This HP printer is one of the best things I have bought in a long time. The white box is quite large, but comes securely packages within the box it is supplied. However, there did seem to be an awful lot of packaging which seemed a bit un-needy. Installation was very, very easy on my macbook.
