The C4480 is slower and not quite as sharp as Canon's excellent MP630. Nevertheless, it's a lot cheaper to buy and very economical run when paired with HP's XL cartridges. Read more

The HP Photosmart C4480's price tag is certainly appealing, and the running cost even more so. As a cheap document printer and scanner the Photosmart C4480 serves well, though you may want to spend a little extra for better quality photos. Read more

I have just ordered the USB cable from [...] so I only tested without connecting to my computer. (I admit I was a bit disappointed to know that the cable has to be purchased separately)Nevertheless, the printer amazed me with its fantastic photo scanning and reprinting. I tested with my graduation photo and it came out almost identical to the professional printing. Read more

I have to unplug from the outlet and start over. Scanning pictures is a pain too. Very slow and sometimes doesn't work. Making copies is hit or miss. Was a huge HP fan until this thing. I don't know if they tried to save some bucks by not having a infeed and outfeed separate or what but holding it's hand has gotten real old. Read more
