The SanDisk Sansa m260 is portable and very lightweight that makes it the best for every person. It is one of the finest players which has ample space for storage. But there are certain drawbacks which one will sometimes have to face with these players. The SanDisk Sansa m260 is a special music system that has FM radio along with some unique controls. On the outside it looks a little heavy and bulky but if you hold it in your hands you will realise that it is really very light. It is not easily damaged but sometimes there might be some problem with the casing and nothing more than that. It is very lightweight and also quite chunky and this is part of its appeal. It can easily be slipped into the pocket without any problem. It has a non-colour display screen which is one of the major disadvantages.

One of the most important advantages of this system is the controls and the interaction of these with the music system which is very necessary for its operation and this is something which is missing in many systems. It has a white coloured front that works out to be the best with four touch pad systems which are very light and delightful to use. A small screen is present on the left of the touch pad with volume controls and menu which are placed usually at the top. It is very user friendly. The sound quality is just a completely delightful experience. It has another important feature which is that the player restarts at the same point where it started even after it is completely turned off. It is a music player which can easily be used by just about anyone due to the simplicity of its functions and portability.

The SanDisk Sansa M260 MP3 player was a steal at £24.99 from BigPockets(avoid free advertising). It replaced a Matsui one I had that was rubbish & would randomly play tracks or do them in alphabetical order no matter what..! Incredibly annoying This player is brilliant; it's as simple and as straightforward as that. It has 4GB (3.8 really) storage space, which is easily enough for 30 to 40 albums encoded as VBR MP3's, with the quality setting maxed out to 100%. It has... Read more

I received this MP3 player for Christmas of 06, and have experienced a flaw in it's design that is well documented with it's user base. I will simply paste an explanation of the problem I found. "There is a known issue regarding these players’ tendency to display “unknown artist” or “unknown album” even when Windows Explorer, or Media Player clearly reflect the correct artist and or album of a particular song when the unit is connected via the USB port. This... Read more

I realy liked that it has an FM radio, but didn't like the that it didn't come with an owner's manual. There doesn't seem to be an "off" button. When the battery was removed (the only way I could figure out to turn it off,) then it lost all memory of the songs I selected and I had to hook it up to my computer and download my song list once again. This would not be a product that I could go on vacation with. Once the battery died I would have no way to re-load my songs. Read more

Just got the new player from Circuit City. The only bad part is the battery cover that is very loose and comes off way too easy. Its wiggling around and does not fir right. The headphones is a personal preference, I prefer the ones that came with the sansa e130. Read more
