The SanDisk Sansa c140 is really a wonderful MP3 player that has unique features that makes it distinguished. It is affordable and easily available to those who are in need of it. It measures 3.1 x 1.4 x 0.9 inches. They are light weight and remarkably weigh only 1.6 ounces. The player offers a special screen which is 1.25 inches diagonally and has a 65,000 colour screen which also supports JPEG albums and photos. The only drawback is that it is very tiny to take photos even though they are wide screen and for viewing it is necessary to convert them into pictures with the help of Sansa Media Converter application.

The MP3 player can be used as a luxury device as it has a five-way controller and also a dedicated volume menu as well as other menus which serve as the back button. On the opposite side of the volume button there is a hold switch along with a microphone pinhole. It has a headphone jack which is situated on the top and a USB port which is located at the bottom. The battery used is a AAA battery which lasts long. It is an affordable device which is also not very flashy to look at due to the low grade plastic used on the top but the excellent voice clarity makes it a premium device which is also less costly. Browsing tracks, albums, movies, play lists, songs and even recording is made easy. It has a major drawback which is that it shows just three songs on the play list at a time and it delays the sifting process also. For this reason the iPod Nano and the click wheel is much better. This device is for those who are in need of a simple and affordable MP3 player which can perform different.

The SanDisk Sansa Express MP3 player is a good device to consider given its great sound, direct USB connection and small size. This inexpensive flash memory player comes in 1GB or 2GB sizes and appears as a USB flash drive. It plugs directly to your computer through a USB port--great for those who don't want to worry about carrying a USB cable--and the memory of the Express is expandable via a microSD card slot. The Express in an entry level MP3 player much like others in its budget price range. The build quality is mediocre with a light toyish feel and button tolerances that are a bit off. But at the same time it can take quite a beating. The sound quality is okay, but is nice to have 5-band equalizer to give it an extra tweak. Yes it sounds pretty unmoving; however, the Express has two qualities that I think give it an edge in its price class: direct USB connection and a... Read more

This worked great!...right up until the point where the back light died. Now I can't see anything on the display. The music still plays, but you can't see what's going on. It's long past its guarantee, but I expected it to last longer ... than this! I can't have more than 40 hours of use on it! Read more Less Read more
