Do you like big sound? Do you want a small player? Creative has built something you will love. The Zen V Plus is as endearing as it is enduring. With the little OLED screen that is good enough to watch music videos on (even though it will play entire movies), and a shine that flanks nano out of the park, this is the Mp3 player people will be talking about for long time to come. This nice little package will stay lit up and sounding big on the lithium-ion battery for all of eighteen hours; just enough time to cram for an exam or do your homework in the comfort of your own little Mp3 world. Believe me when I tell you this baby is giving Apple’s nano a good run; actually Apple is eating Creative’s dust on this one.
Will there be a match-off from Apple? Only time will tell, but if time is what you have, spend it wisely with the Zen V Plus. Placing this jewel in your hand you feel as if you need to use kid gloves, but turn it on and watch the crowd gather. Not only are the aesthetics excellent, so is how it feels in your budget. Creative’s products are usually less than Apple’s when it comes to Mp3 players, but then it’s usually the underdog that needs no introduction. Fire this baby up and it introduces itself. For a little more cash sport this show off on your arm and take it for a spin around campus or the neighbourhood. Placing MP3, WMA, WAV, and Audible audio is a snap, but it will also handle AVI videos and JPEG photos. Get your tunes, get your videos, and get your best photos and go where you want to go.

The Zen V Plus is a nifty little player than does what it sets out to do - offer you music on the go with a screen. However, we would recommend that you look at the video and photo elements of the player as a bonus rather than a worthwhile feature. If you don't want to go Apple, the Zen V Plus offers a nice alternative. Read more

It seems as though MP3 players are becoming increasingly feature packed these days, indeed the term “MP3 player” seems like something of an anachronism because of it. The Creative Zen V Plus is a perfect case in point. In addition to its audio capabilities it can playback video, display photos, receive FM radio, record via a Line-in or internal microphone and even synchronise with your Outlook Contacts and Calendar information. If nothing else it makes for great press... Read more

Creative Zen V Plus 8 GB: creative zen

I received this creative zen as a present and my initial thought was that it looked very stylish and it was a nice size being very small. The screen is colour, and has a display which gives you all the information you'd need when you're listening it is extremely easy to use there is a joystick and a couple of buttons that control everything. I think it has very good sound quality that is very clear but I would have liked a bit more bass but I brought new headphones to... Read more

I have had this player for a couple of months now and it may freeze every once in a blue moon but it works very well, very clear sound, inbuilt EQ, although the screen is small, it is easily readable and i am very happy with it. Read more

All Vista reviews, and your thoughts on it...
Well I did an upgrade, and it failed and I lost everything. I done a clean install and it worked fine for a few months. Now all it does is keep crashing, especially Media Player. Its all been updated. Also tried to install my Creative Zen V Plus and had problems with that. Im gonna wipe my hard drive in the next week and do a clean install again, then update it all to see if it solves the problems im having. If not, back to XP Pro for me. _________________

Sony Walkman NWA808
...at random and play all music released in that year. What separates the A800 series from anything else in its class is its support for H.264 videos you've converted and transferred from a PC. Other flash-based MP3 players can cope with video, such as the Creative Zen V Plus, but they use proprietary video formats that result in much larger files. Videos are rotated to fill the whole screen and look stunning. The screen is too small for watching full-length movies, but it's perfect for short clips, music videos or film trailers....
