See lessThe iPod has always been about design. The simple understated lines of the nano give it an elegance lacking from many competitors. Apple have focused on making the iPod desirable and it has worked, after all, it has achieved iconic status in the face of many copycats at much lower prices. The iPod nano has for many years been the pocketable ‘Pod to beat and whilst Apple keep innovating that puts the pressure on rivals. However, this player comes in at over £100 for an... Read more

I wasn't really a fan of the third generation iPod nano . Apple's decision to make its svelte player look like a traditional iPod was misguided in my opinion, and made it aesthetically less appealing, while also making it far less usable. The thin, but rather wide design made it hard for me to hold comfortably in my hand, especially when I was using the Clickwheel to navigate the device. Whereas the first and second generation nanos were long, so you could keep a good... Read more

The iPod Chromatic (or nano 4th generation) is better than any previous version. With a larger screen, twice as much memory, accelerometer, new genius playlist creator, and colors that are POP'N hot, this iPods a keeper. My first iPod was the iPod nano 1st generation white. I loved it. Second I had a second generation nano in the color red. <WOW> the color was awesome with the same great features. Until 2008 I had the second generation. I had no idea what I was missing.... Read more
What can I say, 3rd time lucky? It has stopped working twice now and has thus proved to be highly unreliable. My Sandisk MP3 that I have had for 4 years has never once given me problems so I know what I will be getting next time and it wont be an i-pod. Read more
Watch out Flip Video Camera~ I just could not wait until Christmas to get this new MP3 player/video camera. Apples 5th generation iPod Nano will be on thousands of Christmas lists this year! I bought it for the MP3 player, but also love the FM radio, video camera and voice recorder. My job requires me to have a small video camera to record aspects of my job and so I am always on the look out for a small, 'digital diary' type camera. The iPod Nano video camera is easy... The 4th Generation of the Ipod Nano is a nifty piece of technology. The nano can be carried around with you anywhere and everywhere and the sound quality is great. The wheel is still great, and the new shuffle feature, where you shake the ipod which will select a song at random is great. 8GB is big enough for around 2000 songs depending on the size of your music files. The new nano also allows you to sync photos and videos from itunes onto it. The only downside is the... Read more
