The Samsung T220’s matte design can be said to have a similar shape to that of the Samsung 2232GW. The new Touch of Colour bezel adds a clear plastic coating over the black bezel and subtle red highlights which are most visible along the bottom edge and under the power button. The Samsung T220 measures 20.47” x 17.4” x 8.46” including the stand, and carries a weight of approximately 12.7 lbs. The stand’s function only has tilt.
Features
In terms of display, the Samsung T220 has a screen size of 22” wide, featuring a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels (WSXGA+). It has a brightness of 300 cd/m ² and a contrast ratio of DC 20,000:1 (typically 1000:1). The response time of the Samsung T220 is 2ms (GTG), and it has a wide viewing angle of 170 degrees horizontally and 160 degrees vertically. Signal inputs which can be detected by the Samsung T220 include video signals of analog RGB and DVI, sync signals of separate H/V, composite and SOG as well as 15 pin D-sub and DVI-D connectors. The Samsung T220 operates on a 45W power consumption and consumes less than 1W when on standby mode (DPMS). In terms of features, the Samsung T220 offers DDC 2B plug and play, and other special features such as lower power consumption (0.3W power off, energy saving mode), LED brightness control, MagicBright 3, image size, colour effect, customized key, MagicWizard and Magic Tune, Windows Vista Premium, DVI with HDCP and safe mode.
