Summary: This monitor/TV is absolutely fantastic, unpacking and setting up was so simple. everything is so straight forward to understand and the picture quality is terrific so clear and crisp. The free view side is great to and setting that up and searching for channels is the simplest it could be.
Summary: Like others here I was looking for a hybrid so that I could replace my old 15" tft monitor and an old portable tv in my bedroom. I'm really delighted on both counts. It has 2 HDMI inputs (including one at the side which is quite handy for connecting some portable devices like a Flip Mino HD camcorder) plus the normal aerial, DVI and VGA connections. It also has a freeview receiver which seems just as receptive as my main tv. Setup is fairly easy. Resolution is good.
Summary: Bought this to connect to my son's PC in their bedroom so that they could use it as a monitor, watch TV / DVD and play their console through the one screen. It is entirely suited for this purpose and so meets the requirement. Others have mentioned that sound through the speakers isn't very good. I disagree, I think the sound is entirely adequate for the size of screen and likely uses of the screen.
Excerpt: This samsung PC monitor really is a fantastic and beautiful piece of kit. The first thing I noticed when taking it out of the box when it arrived on my doorstep was simply how stunning it was. The shape of the monitor and its frame just seems to flow and ooze with sexyness. It has a magnificant colour tinge to it aswell. A lovely deep red shines through the gloss black finish of the monitor making it really quite spectacular and unique to look at.
Pros: looks fantastic, fair price, stupidly easy to use
Cons: changing the colour levels can be pretty awkward, bulky base of the monitor
Summary: 1) Analogue TV 2) Freeview TV 3) Monitor for my Wii 4) 2nd monitor for my 20" iMac I bought this product for less than half the price of the equivalent Mac extension monitor. It doesn't match the iMac in height but I use the main Mac screen to run Apple Logic music production software and the Samsung to manage all the effects and plug ins so this does not matter. It sits on my desk in my lounge providing me with a Freeview TV and a monitor for my Wii as well.
Summary: Although I am not a Computer Expert, I was amaazed by the Screen Clarity compared to my ancient "Tiny" Dell Monitor. Also, DVD playback is superb.I have not tried the TV Tuner yet, but Ihave no doubt that it will be Top Class
Summary: I bought this monitor because I recently moved our office into a position where we could connect to a spare digibox and watch freeview through a computer monitor, my last one did not allow any other connections so I upgraded to this one. Firstly - It looks great!! I am very happy with the size of the monitor, people who are going to be using it as a monitor need to consider that the 22" version might be a bit too big for PC use but the 20" seems perfect.
Summary: Having spent a considerable length of time comparing 19 - 20inch flat screens I eventually decided to go for the Samsung T200HD. Initial setup was a breeze (took 5 - 10 minutes) with no major pain (a small tip - ensure you've got batteries in the remote before you connect the TV to the mains as the auto-setup facility does require you to answer numerous questions via the remote#. Generally speaking I am pretty impressed with this TV.
