LG W2252TQ

The LG W2252TQ has special features such as ez Zooming for you to switch resolutions at the touch of a button (screen resolution reduces by one level), Photo Effect which allows you to change the tone and colour of an image (just like a Photoshop) with tools such as blur, sepia and monochrome effect. Besides that, the Power button can also be set to turn on the screen with sounds.

In terms of display, the LG W2252TQ has a DFC (Digital Fine Contrast Ratio) of 10,000:1 (Original 700:1) and unprecedented contrast ratio. It has a response time of 2ms (GTG) and Fun keys. The size of the panel is 22 inches widescreen. It has a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels and a pixel pitch of 0.282 x 0.282. The LG W2252TQ also has an image brightness of 300 cd/m² and a viewing angle of 170 degrees horizontally and 170 degrees vertically (CR ≥ 5). Other than that, it has a response time of 2ms (GTG) and supports 16.7 million display colours. In terms of sync range, the LG W2252TQ has a horizontal frequency of 30 KHz to 83 KHz and a vertical frequency of 56 Hz to 75 Hz. It has 15 Pin D-sub and DVI-D PC connectors and DDC/ CI plug and play. The LG W2252TQ runs on a power consumption of 40 W when it’s operating and less than 1W when on standby and DPM off. There are seven control buttons including the power key which are of a tact type on the monitor itself. Other special features include FLATRON f Engine, HDCP and FUN Key (ez Zooming, 4:3 inches wide, Photo effect and Sound). The LG W2252TQ also has visual OSD control.

    Some potential buyers may be annoyed by the lack of HDMI, but this can be rectified by an adaptor and/or cable. Otherwise, the LG W2252TQ is a rather sizzling flat-panel, aimed primarily at home (particularly gaming and home entertainment) users, so the viewing angles aren't a drawback, in the same way they might in a work environment (particularly graphics design). Users will find that its searing image and luscious looks make a statement for all the right reasons. Read more
