   purchased this as a replacement for my old 17" lcd that was dying. the $179.99 price was extremely attractive and made it a deal I couldn't pass up. the picture quality was as good, if not better, than some monitors costing $50-$75 more. mainly used for gaming and photo/video editing and I've experienced zero issues so far!    I have had this monitor for years, and I have moved 3 times since getting it, and it has withstood rough handling, bad weather, high humidity, and the sands of Iraq, and it still looks as good as when I first got it. If you want a sturdy and reliable monitor, I highly recommend this one. And I have used several video cards with it, and the picture is AWESOME. Good job HP. Read more

   I used a w1907. It was a good monitor. Picture quality is very good. Colour and contrast are excellent. The monitor also has a great design that blends in well with the environment. The biggest disappointment is that mine died a few months after the one-year warranty. HP charges almost $200 to do a swap with a refurbished one. For that money, I could get a new one. I brought it to a repair shop and they said that the power supply was dead but HP didn't make the power... Read more
