All in all, then, we felt that the BenQ FP241W held up well against the competition. Documentation was good, and the necessary leads were supplied. Read more

The BenQ doesn't offer the rich, complex colours of the Samsung SyncMaster 244T, nor the sleek style of the Dell 2407FPW, but it's cheaper than both of these screens. It isn't a bad monitor and redeems itself in other areas, most notably in games, which were punchy and detailed, with intense lighting effects. Pin-Sharp, great colours, minimal back-light bleeding, the range of inputs is incredible. The only downside is the lack of 1:1 scaling, but that's just because I was too impatient to wait for the FP241WZ. A big price jump from 22" screens, but all 24" cost a proverbial arm and a leg, so it's normal I s'pose. Read more
