The X243W has a display size of 24.3" wide. It features 5ms response time. Besides that, it has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Plus, it has 3000:1 (ACM) contrast ratio and 400 cd/m² rating which deliver the brightness on the screen. It also has control buttons on its front panel. It delivers 5-milisecond pixel-response time that eliminates obvious motion errors and blurred images. It also provides VGA (Analogue D-sub), DVI-D and DVI (w/HDCP) input signals. It has a 160° (H), 160° (V) view angle. Moreover, it supports Kensington Lock enabling user to put lock the monitor for security. Also, it features a dedicated Acer eDisplay application enabling advanced image and display management directly and remotely. It consumes 45 Watts of power in operation, 1 Watts in Power Saving Off mode and 2 Watts while in Standby. It is also wall mountable with VESA Wall mounting measuring 100 x 100 mm included. A 3-year warranty is also provided by the manufacturer.

It should be a no brainer and not something with which the consumer should have to fiddle around. That capability is implied in the specifications that Acer provides but doesn't work.
