Despite taking a while to get to the market, the X10 doesn't have version 2.0 of Android, and that means it doesn't get multitouch either, which is a real shame. Overall though, the smartphone comes off well, and though the interface is decent, it could be more efficient and better integrated; the X10's camera is reasonable too. Alongside other Android-powered phones though, we still prefer the HTC Hero, Motorola Milestone or Google's own Nexus One. Read more

A decent camera and beautiful screen are just the beginning for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, which is packed with juicy hardware features. The software's not bad either, although it doesn't quite live up to the latest smart phones, due to an older version of the Android OS and custom apps that are more about the sizzle than the sausage Read more

just received mine today and yeah ok it only runs android 1.6 BUT if the news that S.E is going to rolling out 2.1 then i think it will be the handset to beat in terns of user friendliness. the android OS is easy to use it works well, the screen is great but sometimes a bit too much like a mirror but i have slowly started getting the apps organised and it working out what 'TimeScape' does, then it will become easier and more user friendly. i have not had any problems... I love se phones but this one is not for me. The camera for an 8mp is not very good and there is no flash. The photos i took off it were blurred due to unresponsive screen and not what i'm used to having just left the se905. I guess it depends what you want cos it looks smart but if its a camera you're after don't pick this - I'm sending mine back. Read more

This is my first android phone and i've been using it since its release. So far the only 2 things that gets on my nerves is the short batterylife(somedays less the a day) but using certain apps helped me increase it and the keyboard wich is onresponsive (esspecialy using the e,a,s,p,l keys) bt again a quick search trough the market and youll find an app tho get a better one. Those 2 thing are the only annoying things i can come op with hell i love this phone i even wrote... Read more
