Though the X1 has truly a lot going for it, the lack of responsiveness (due to Windows Mobile?) makes it annoying to use at times. It would be nice to have more of Sony-Ericsson’s own panel interface on the X1. Read more
Its a fabulous looking smartphone with a great specification; but the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 has too many usability compromises to make it worth recommending. Read more
There's been a lot of hype about the Xperia X1, not least because it's Sony Ericsson's first handset to use the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system since dropping the UIQ software that was found on its previous smartphones. The handset has been designed by Sony Ericsson, but is actually built by HTC and although the design looks very different to the HTC S740 , the technology inside seems to be surprisingly similar. First things first, the Xperia looks fantastic. There's... Read more
Sony Ericsson's Xperia X1 is a well-designed and fully stocked smartphone that offers great customisation via its interactive panel interface. However, with its high price tag, the X1 is definitely a luxury item. Read more
I bought this phone around two months ago & had been waiting for it to launch for ages. I was so excited when it finally arrived at my door. At first the phone was great trying to work out how to use it, & I loved my fish like they were real pets! But let's face it, as a phone its rubbish. If you need quick access to texts or shortcuts to your contacts for sneaky texts at work this isn't the phone for you. By the time you have unlocked it, gone to start messaging... Read more
This phone can do anything! Don't forget to make sure that your exchange server has been patched(very easy) and some of the programs and options are almost buried in sub menus. I could go on for a 100 pages about how good this phone is and how helpful Expansys have been. The google maps satellite view with the gps is unbelievable it seems to have a 1/2 meter resolution as the dot moves when walking about. Fantastic! I am an long awaited upgrade from a P910i Read more
Compering to Nokia top models, for example Luna 8600, which is not their top model phone, this Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 phone delivery case seems rather cheap and badly designed. Like you didn't just bought the SE top smartphone model?! There is no etui nor screen cleaner delivered with it like they use to deliver with P900. No cradle. Just a USB cable aimed for charging and PC communication ... Dissapointed. The loadspeaker gives out a very thin and week sound! There is... Read more

The Xperia X1 Well what can i say a brilliant device all round, the panel interface is great for when you get sick of looking at the same screen but this may not be an issue if people regularly change their wallpapers on the device. The Panels. The Xperia come with around 7 panels which include a psp style multimedia panel where you can scroll through your music, videos, images. There is also a FM radio panel for listening to your favourite radio stations. There is also... Read more
