Though the X1 has truly a lot going for it, the lack of responsiveness (due to Windows Mobile?) makes it annoying to use at times. It would be nice to have more of Sony-Ericsson’s own panel interface on the X1. Read more
With its new Firmware update the Xperia X1 has certainly improved in terms of its panel performance and the 3rd party mods have provided or added new functionality (alongside the wealth of features). But compared to the newer products arriving on the scene it's still lacking in certain areas... The screen is surrounded by a frame and is void of an accelerometer, plus the higher WVGA resolution on a 3" screen does shrink some of the on-screen text and options, so... Read more
We really wanted to love the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 as it boasts an attractive design and features the iPhone 3G would be jealous of, but it runs on Windows Mobile and as a consequence doesn't deliver a great user experience. If only the Xperia X1 ran on Android with all the Microsoft support of Windows Mobile and featured a more sensitive screen, then Sony Ericsson might have hit the jackpot Read more

Bought one this morning from Carphone Warehouse, took it straight back in the afternoon. Felt like I was using an old Ipaq pda! Apart from the "Pannels/windows" view, its the same Windows mobile - feels outdated compared to whats available now. Sluggish, screen very small, overall operaitions very fiddly. Camera very bad as is Video...Speaker sound very low and tinny (Blackberrry bold puts it to shame - in so many different areas.). Just did not understand what... Read more

Dear Sony Representative, This is not really an inquiry but more of a statement as to why your company has gone down and keeps going down. People are tired of having to buy products that become outdated in no less then a year with nothing to hold but a useless expensive piece of hardware that just isn't useful anymore. I'm talking about the Xperia x1, yes the... Read more

Brilliant phone, but it needs touchflo installed to get rid of the need of a stylus. It crashes the odd time but as a first release of firmware its not as bad as my old N95 was when it first launched. The brilliant screen makes up for everything! Read more
