There are plenty of features in this mobile phone, but what really makes it stand out is the superb design. Small and shiny, it is light and usable. If you don't need a sophisticated camera in your phone it could be ideal. Read more
This is probably the best handset I've seen in Sony Ericsson's Walkman range. I'd like a bigger screen now that 3.5G web browsing is a reality, but I don't want the buttons compromised to get it. And on the camera front - well, maybe it is time for Sony Ericsson to bring its CyberShot and Walkman ranges together? Read more
With negatives being scarce, it is difficult not to like this phone – a minor foible with the Walkman controls and headphone socket, but an otherwise great little package. Things just work here, the size is right and the W890i doesn’t go overboard with trying to complicate things. In fact I’d go a stage further and say I’d be happy to have this as my phone as it is just a pleasure to use. Read more

Other than that, the phone and its capabilities are excellent, especially the internet which feels a lot more user friendly than previous phones I've had. I only wish they could have included some more of the photo features from the Cyber-Shot phones. As expected, the music capabilities are good, although I have some gripes with the menu system but which on the whole, is pretty slick. A good phone overall but the battery may let you down!! So off I went to the O2 website, browsed through the phones with a tendency towards Nokia as they have always been good for me, but also with an open mind to Sony Ericsson due to my last 2 phones being Sony Ericsson. Eventually I decided on the W890i... Read more
I have been using Sony Ericsson phones for four or five years and this is my favourite one to date. The software is excellent and makes the phone a pleasure to use. The screen is much better than previous models, meaning internet browsing is much nicer. The camera quality is good, as is the media player. To top it all off the phone is slim enough to fit in your pocket - unlike the iPhone. I highly recommend this phone. Read more
