The Tocco improves on previous Samsung touchscreen mobiles, with a more responsive and improved user interface. The phone looks pretty fine too. One downside of such a compact, pocketable build, though, is the lack of screen space and consequently, finger room. The mid-tier feature line-up, headlined by the five-megapixel camera, is decent enough, and the widgets idea works neatly as a bonus feature, too. Although it has high-speed HSDPA mobile data connectivity, it’s... Read more

I am with T- Mobile and my 18 month plan was finishing up (this year March) so I had to find a new phone. To replace my old Nokia, which I have to say I had, had enough of. So searching through phones that had recently came out I found the Samung Tocco. This phone was everything i needed in a phone. Plus it was pretty good looking, with a high pixel camera (5.0). I hadn't heard much about the Samsung Tocco so I had to make my own mind up about it. When I got the Tocco it... Read more

This handset is sleek, nice to hold in your hands and sure to make your friends and family jealous. This phone really does look the part and is easy to use. The only thing I find difficult with this phone is texting on its touch screen keypad, I find it quite easy to accidently tap the wrong button but this is easily rectified. One thing it doesn't tell you is when you have gone onto a 2nd page so you can often find yourself sending a 2 page message when its only one or... Read more

Had this phone for a few months now - originally LOVED it but the novelty has now worn off :( The touch screen is not bad, but it can be a bit hit and miss. Did I touch that button?? No, I dont think I did, I'll do it again - oh no I did and now I have that letter twice!!! Very frustrating and much slower than the traditional keyboard, and no I dont have sausage fingers :) For me, customisation is the biggest draw and samsung are quite good at that. You can have... 4. Keyboard interface..?

The f480 is nice and all, but honestly, where is the keyboard? For a phone of this caliber, I would expect more than the functions it currently possesses. The touch screen is extremely sensitive, which is a good thing. The camera quality and capability is simply amazing; the smile detection could use a bit of work though, it is not quite sensitive to smiles. The only thing I feel a strong need for is the keyboard interface. A simply firmware update will solve that issue... Read more
