  • Summary: Was quite doubtful about getting one of these but decided to give it a go. Really pleased and have found it mostly easy to use and what I don't know I have Googled!

Good Phone

ANDY, Argos
25 March 2014
  • Summary: If you are looking for a budget phone this one is worth looking at. Screen runs fairly smoothly but the actual phone memory isn't that big. On the plus side it does come with a micro sd card to expand the memory and various coloured backs.

Y is not for young, it's for 10 year old fingers!

Seraphina, Amazon
23 March 2014
  • Summary: I'm sorry to say that despite being a lovely phone and easy to use, the lady who bought this phone for her teenage son is not an 'end user'. I am female and do NOT have large fingers. However, irrespective of whether the phone is portrait or landscape, it's almost impossible to do text messages and quite frankly, the aim of buying a Smart phone was to access quicker texting. Fortunately, I have a stylus, but otherwise, it's a no-no for anyone over 10 years old.

Excellent Budget Phone

mysterdy, Ciao
22 March 2014
  • Excerpt: "...and pdf files on your Samsung Galaxy Y. I've not used this feature more than once but it definitely works. There may be some things missed out, please feel free to comment and I can give my opinion on a specific aspect of this product. A list of apps I did not mention as I do not use them or feel they are quite useless - Gmail, FM Radio, social hub, talk, local, voice search, new & weather, samsung apps, and play books. ...
  • Pros: cheap, reliable, strong reception, many features, strong
  • Cons: poor touchscreen quality, poor sensitivity, slow processor

Excellent

Mrs 'A', Amazon
21 March 2014
  • Summary: This phone is ideal for those of us who are not very good with technology. I purchased this phone for my husband as he wanted to text friends but found it difficult with a key pad phone, this phone has talk text facility which means he can now text easily (and more to the point it saves me replying to his texts for him) !!
