When Gordon first saw the Palm Pre , it's safe to say he was rather surprised. Here was a company that appeared to be on its last legs suddenly releasing a device that had the potential to be one of the smartphones of the year. It combined the glamour of the iPhone, the social networking integration of the INQ1 and the openness of Android, and, for those that like such things, it even had a proper physical keyboard. Sadly it's taken an age for the device to reach the... Read more
It’s difficult to use the Pre for a few days and feel anything other than nagging disappointment. This was the phone that was supposed to turn around Palm’s fortunes and provide the iPhone with something to truly worry about and, in its current form, with its current price, it does neither. ® Read more

So much hype and sadly the Palm Pre falls just short – has its merits undoubtedly, but it's not the brilliant all-rounder we hoped for Read more
this is a excellent phone hands down!.. the features that you get for the price you pay is reasonable nothing over priced with this product. first i would like to start with the design and look of this phone. the phone has a glossy and shiny theme although this phone is unfortunately a smudge magnet.its pretty black essence mixed with the slide design gives this phone a smooth easy going look and the shape and size of the phone gives it some heft to it so it doesn't feel... "It’s official: the iPhone is no longer the sexiest phone on the block. The much-hyped Palm Pre has finally slid into view" What! even after 3 years the Iphone is miles better looking! Come on its only because its new. Read more
My Palm Pre only lasted 24 hours before I decided to return it, and in that 24 hours, I had nothing but issues with it. Even though its advertised to sync with Gmail, they fail to mention that you are limited in how much can be sync'd, and if you use labels in your email, it will fail to sync anything that comes in after that. The keyboard is far too small for anyone bar a child (though even my 6 year old struggled with it), and it feels flimsy when you have the keyboard... Read more
Quite frankly, this phone is utter rubbish. The battery life is abysmal, it requires charging every day & sometimes won't last a whole day. The menus take an age to go through & you never know if it's actually registered your selection. Network time just doesn't work. The clock drifts by about 3 minutes a day. Compared to my old Blackberry 8320 the Palm Pre is worse in every area I can think of with regard to ease of use. O2 are completely unhelpful, I asked if I could... Read more
This is a really easy conclusion for me to write and it goes like this: The hardware on the Palm Pre is terrible but Web OS is great! Read more
