Review Summary

The Nokia N82, another model from the N-series, is a 3G HSDPA Smartphone. This phone is said to be really practical for the travelling business user. It comes equipped with 100 megabytes of built in memory which is expandable to 2 gigabytes using a memory card. Its built-in 5 megapixel camera comes complete with Carl Zeiss optics & Tessar™ lens, an assisted global positioning system & an integrated radio with visual radio feature are among its interesting features. Its outer features are a smooth & stylish silver coloured casing and that comes with a large 2.4-in colour screen that is crystal clear & provides up to 16.7 million colours on a LCD QVGA screen. Due to which any data on the phone can be viewed either horizontal or vertical mode depending on the feature being used. On the inside, it is said to be equipped with a beautiful keypad that is equipped with small metal effect keys which are slightly raised which makes the keys easy to locate. Its design has been liked at a percentage of 70% while its usability has been ranked at approximately 73%. A certain reviewer from yourmobilephonereviews.co.uk concluded that overall, this is a good phone, well worth the price, anyone looking for an alternative to the N95 with the same features but a smaller phone, look no further.

The N82 is best described as the bastard child of the N95 and not really an improvement on the N81. This is Nokia packaging its current lineup of phones in a different form factor and adding a Xenon flash rather than offering anything new and improved. Where the phone fails even further is that the repackaged exterior isn't actually that nice or easy to use either. Like the Sony Ericsson W880 the keys are prickly to use and the overall build quality compared to other... Read more

  4. Nokia N82 smartphone

The N82 may not have the 8GB memory of the latest N95, but it does carry a similarly heavyweight set of features plus Wi-Fi and HSDPA 3G high-speed connectivity options. Its five-megapixel camera produces arguably the best cameraphone pictures yet seen in a European mobile, and it has a very capable GPS satnav facility. But with the abilities the N82 has to offer, it’s a shame that Nokia hasn’t made its flagship candybar smart in the looks department too. The curious... Read more

We weren't blown away by the silver N82's looks, but the black paint job brings the phone together in a much more attractive way. Combine this makeover with the N82's 5-megapixel camera, GPS, HSDPA and Wi-Fi, and you've got one of the hottest phones to come out of Finland Read more

The phone has a lot of features on it like music player, gps, web, etc. You can't use this phone with a Mac computer. The music upload is cumbersome because if you don't convert to a specific file format it will eat up all your memory and then the sound quality is okay for head phones but awful if you play on stereo or your car. Not to mention the upload of music to your phone will create duplicate songs or just not upload. This phone will go haywire about once every 2... Read more

Have had the N82 for 6 months now and it is probaly the best phone I have had. The camera is amazing and has replaced my normal digital camera. The battery also lasts for a good period of time. My only gripe when I first got the phone was that the keys were a little fiddly texting but you do get use to it. All in all a good all rounder won't win the fashion stakes but I would rather have a phone that delivers the goods. I was surprised at how easy it was to email on the... Read more

This review is from: Nokia N82 warm Titanium white, mobile phone Debitel unlocked, unbranded, kein V (Electronics) The Nokia N82 has proven to be another excellent Nokia N-Series handset. It may not have much built-in memory (only 100MB) but with an easily accessible MicroSD slot, you won't be short of storage space especially with such memory cards selling high capacities at very competitive prices. Battery life seems to be very good for this handset, considering the... Read more

Very very nice smartphone. However, my Ovi Store seems to have stopped working for some reason :S Also, with my 8GB memory card in, it is a bit slow. But he camera is brilliant and the OS is amazing. I LOVE Symbian!! :D I fully recommend this phone, however being a bit old, go for the N86 8MP of the N97/N97 Mini :) Read more
