The Nokia 5300 is Nokia’s latest music phone that is said to be a small slider that’s compact but packs a punch. This phone is said to come in either red-and-white or black-and-white liveries and both are said to be very stylish. Though smaller in size than the N91, the 5300 still has space for up to 1,500 tracks, providing users have the right memory card as it saves all the music in its microSD memory card. This phone is said to come in either red-and-white or black-and-white liveries and both are said to be very stylish. Though smaller in size than the N91, the 5300 still has space for up to 1,500 tracks, providing users have the right memory card as it saves all the music in its microSD memory card. Users like the fact that this mobile comes with a 256MB-capacity card but users can choose cards with up to 2GB of space. The Nokia Audio Manager music software is supplied that makes the phone efficient and easy to use, plus, it automatically synchronises the phone’s music with those on your computer. That support also supports a wide range of music formats, from mp3, AAC to Wma tracks. Users have found that with headphones, the music sound way much better than using the external speakers. It sounds even better for users when they found out that with the 5300, an adapter is provided whereby any headphones can be used with it. External buttons are provided much to the pleasure of its users. The Play/Pause, Next and Previous Track raised buttons are simple to use but the same cant be said for its other navigation keys on the handset. This phone will suit those who are probably going to use it for music purposes only.

The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic may look quite funky and have decent music features, but it's let down by a relatively poor camera and short battery life. If you want a phone that lets you listen to tunes on the go there are much better options out there Read more
I get little surprises on its functionality over 2 years of use... well thought out design overall. Little utilities like the scheduling function lets me create to-do list on a daily, weekly basis. Alarm associated with the schedule take stress out of my life. I'm amazed how much I can personalize this phone - you can tag voicetag, pic, ringtone, group to any number. You can tag songs as ringtone. You can play video as screensaver. You can even use slideshow from pics as... Read more
I use the phone for texting a lot. The key Pad is very stable. My other phone(Motorola Raz) the keys just gave up on me. I love also the amount of songs I can store and sound good when I play them. It is bulky though and doesn't fit in my pants' pocket well. Read more
Summary: Not a good phone to go for if you want the latest syle, but good if you want a reliable mobile. Read more
I really like the camera features on this phone. It is nice as when I put in a 2gb microsd card I can record about 3 HOURS of footage! I like how when doing video it has a pause option so that you can start filming something, pause it, then resume so you aren't merging various video clips or having long periods of no activity. I liked this phone because it looked good and came with a good memory card. Basically its what you expect from Nokia, simple and easy to use with good music features. The only let down is the battery life, which is rather pathetic. I leave it on for one day and it goes to critical battery. Basically not what you want from a music mobile. I would only purchase if you are willing to charge it every night. Read more
